Open Source ERP to merge into Web Office?

A bit over three months old, and I am already questioning if the Open Source ERP is the way to go.

My recent work on Web Office suggest me that the best path to roll out an OS ERP on a company is to start with the Web Office, and from there build the ERP.

What do you think?

What's a Web Office? If it's something like Goggle Docs than no, I don't think it makes to build the ERP from there.

Hi Christian,

Yes, Web Office is similar to Google Docs, but broader.

Why do you think this could not be the base for a web based OS ERP?

ERP has not much in common with an office suite.

ERP is about managing your financial data, your sales, customers, product planning ... even with an interface to you r webshop and your Parcel-Carrier ...

The only thing they may have in common is a web-interface. And some times the report designer.

If you use an odbc kind of database you may access your ERP-Data in an office application. Is it this you mean?
